CEREC is the acronym for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. This innovative technology works with intraoral scanners and CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) to design and mill high-quality dental crowns in our office.

With CEREC, there's no need for messy impressions, multiple visits, or a temporary crown while waiting weeks for your permanent restoration. Instead, our dental team uses a handheld intraoral scanner to take mess-free digital impressions of your teeth. They then use the highly detailed and accurate images to design a custom dental crown that blends seamlessly with your smile. The CAD/CAM system mills the crown from a high-quality biocompatible ceramic, which is then expertly adjusted and cemented in place.
