Dr. William Turner
Dr. William Turner is a proud native of Raleigh, North Carolina, and the owner of Cameron Village Dentistry. He graduated from Broughton High School and received a biology degree from Hampden-Sydney College, a Master in Physiology degree from NC State University, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Turner has provided clinical care, training, and leadership at Cameron Village Dentistry since purchasing the practice in 2021. His passion is helping patients who've had negative dental experiences. He aims to reshape their perception of dental care by providing genuine, compassionate care centered on their long-term oral health.
For Dr. Turner, dentistry is the ideal blend of relationships, artistry, and science while using one's hands. He loves connecting with his patients and helping them achieve their dental goals, whether replacing missing teeth or restoring aesthetics and function through a smile makeover.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Turner enjoys working out, running, playing golf, cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes, and supporting NC State's football and basketball teams. He also likes to unwind by grilling.
Always one for a unique hobby, Dr. Turner enjoys axe throwing. And a fun fact about him that few people know is that he played one year of college football at Hampden-Sydney College.
With his dedication to patient care, passion for his craft, and unique approach to dentistry, Dr. Turner is the heart of our community here at Cameron Village Dentistry.
Dr. Rachel Swart
Dr. Rachel Swart is one of our dedicated dentists who provides superior comprehensive family dentistry with a special focus on biological and holistic treatment plans. She received her dental education and training at the University of Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry.
One thing Dr. Swart especially enjoys about her role at Cameron Village Dentistry is meeting people from all walks of life and joining them on their healthcare journey. Whether practicing prevention or conducting life-changing full-mouth rehabilitations, she finds immense satisfaction in her work. Dr. Swart treasures our close-knit team, who consistently go above and beyond to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Dr. Swart's journey in dentistry began in her hometown dental office as a teenager, sparking a lifelong passion for the profession. She joined our team in 2017, bringing her experience and patient-centered approach with her. Her love for helping people aligns perfectly with her daily work in dentistry, allowing her to significantly impact her patients' lives.
When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Swart enjoys spending time with her friends and family and embracing all things water-related – boating, fishing, swimming, and even wakeboarding and wake surfing. A unique, fun fact is that she plays the violin or gives it her best shot!
Tracey
Patient Concierge
Meet Tracey, a friendly patient care coordinator at Cameron Village Dentistry. Tracey is a vital part of our front desk team, scheduling appointments, answering calls, checking patients in and out, and managing insurance matters. She received her training on the job at Cameron Village Dentistry, and she's been a part of our family since 2020.
Tracey's love for helping people shines through in everything she does. She enjoys connecting with our patients and supporting them on their journeys to better oral health. It was her fond memories of her childhood dentist that inspired her to join the dental field.
When she's not brightening up our office, Tracey loves spending time with her family, friends, and fur baby, Bella. She also enjoys beach trips whenever she can squeeze them in. Her unique hobby is calligraphy, which she loves to practice in her downtime. And a fun fact about Tracey? She's a big baseball fan!
Alyson
Hygenist
Alyson is a dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience. She is originally from the Boston area where she attended Massachusetts college of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree from MCPHS and still enjoys health and science podcasts & books.
She is passionate about helping patients understand the connection between oral health and the body. Alyson loves getting to know patients and says learning their interests is one of the best parts of working in dentistry!
Alyson moved to the Raleigh area with her husband over 5 years ago. They have 3 children two dogs, a cat, a hamster and even an axolotl. Her hobbies include working out, reading and traveling with her family.
Faith
Dental Hygienist
Faith received an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College and is certified to administer local anesthetics. She's also a member of the ADHA.
Her passion is to assist every patient in achieving a lifetime of optimal dental health, provide oral hygiene education and how this is linked to overall systemic health, develop genuine and trusting relationships with my patients, and provide individualized care that addresses each patient’s specific needs.
Faith enjoys spending time with friends + family, and two dogs, hot yoga, long walks and hiking. "I’m an avid coffee drinker and consider myself a foodie!! In my free time I love reading and journaling as well."
