You probably have questions about your first visit to our Raleigh, NC, dental office, so here is some helpful information that outlines how to prepare and what to expect.
New Patient Forms
We invite you to complete our new patient forms online before your appointment, so we can have all your information ready when you arrive. If you can’t do this beforehand, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to fill them out in our office.
Identification and Insurance Information
Please bring your ID and insurance card to your appointment. We are in-network with Delta Dental Premier but accept and process all insurance claims.
Your Initial Exam with Our Hygienist
Your first visit will begin with an exam by one of our experienced dental hygienists. They will conduct a thorough oral assessment to evaluate your oral health and take digital x-rays if necessary. This evaluation lets us determine if you have any potential oral health issues.
Your First Dental Cleaning
After your exam, your hygienist will typically perform a cleaning to remove plaque and tartar and polish your teeth. However, if they detect signs of gum disease, they will schedule a more in-depth periodontal treatment at another visit.
Treatment Plan Discussion
If we discover other oral health issues, Dr. Turner will discuss them with you and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Scheduling Future Appointments
Based on your treatment plan, we will schedule any necessary follow-up appointments. Our team is committed to making your journey to optimal oral health as convenient and efficient as possible.
